As we head into Christmas weekend of 2017, we are at the height of human materialism. This year Americans will spend nearly $500 billion dollars on Christmas. The wrapping paper and empty boxes would fill who landfills if combined, and half of what we give will be obsolete, worn out, or simply forgotten long before Santa’s sleigh makes it’s way around the world again next year.
In the spirit of giving, and in the face of Black Friday I thought it would be cool to take a look at what people are doing to re-use the things we already have instead of just buying more stuff.
