My organic bedroom basil plant was crying for a trim so it was time to make some pesto! Did you know that pesto generally has cheese in it? Pesto is in itself a great reason to always have a basil plant in the house. (If you don’t have one, here’s a useful article to get you started)
This simple vegan pesto recipe is delicious, dairy free, and takes ten minutes to make.
Ingredients:
2 packed cups fresh Basil
3 cloves of Garlic (minced)
1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 cup Pine Nuts
3 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
Sea Salt & ground Pepper to taste
Instructions:
Pulse in food processor until coarsely ground
